Magazine Advertisement
After looking at a variety of different magazines I have decided the best magazine to advertise my music video in would be Revolver. Revolver magazine is the world’s loudest rock magazine it has been providing the latest in metal and hard rock for nearly a decade. Revolver is packed with exclusive photos and edgy editorial covering everything that impacts the metal world. This magazine would advertise my music video directly to my target audience. I have also looked into a few articles and advertisements in this magazine and found a lot on female fronted hard rock and metal bands for example The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, In This Moment and Evenescence which were all major influences to my video. Another feature of the magazine is its coverage of underground and up-and-coming bands from all over the world. Rather than focus solely on mainstream acts, Revolver introduces many acts that are not played on the radio or on MTV. In 2009, Revolver held its inaugural hard-rock and heavy-metal award show in the U.S., the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Chris Jericho announced on Attack of the Show that he would host it on May 28, 2011
